@CityPowerJhb@helenzille All the other areas that went off at the same time wilgeheuwel dids power has been restored , however city power has not given us any sort of hope for restoration soon , i had to empty my fridge and freezer with and estimated value of 3000k for the fridge items only my meat ..

Roodetown Substation, Kloofendal Substation, Christiaan De Wet Substation, Peter Road Substation, Ontdekkers Substation, Nursery Substation, Manufacta Substation, Witpooortjie and surrounding areas : A line link on a busbar from the Eskom network has exploded. Eskom is required to isolate from their side. There is no alternative as the damaged equipment needs to be isolated and repaired.
All the area's affected will remain off until Eskom has completed the isolation. City Power team will resume work thereafter.
