Student scavenger hunt for our first week of school ice breaker!

In our classroom, our amazing students start the class the first five minutes of the period! Seeing our 7th and 8th graders taking on leadership roles is truly the best way to begin the day!

Last day of MAP fun! We had so much fun getting to know one another throughout the year! We will miss our daily Wordle challenges, sharing stories and laughs!

Full circle moment— at the spring concert I was reunited with POB proud parents Mr. Walowitz, my 4th grade music teacher and Mrs. Berger, my kindergarten and first grade speech teacher. We were reunited after almost 20 years!! @POBMS

It was an honor to serve as the club advisor for POB’s FIRST EVER middle school a cappella club, Nothing but Treble! I enjoyed every second singing with the kiddos every Friday. Our former club president, Kevin, would also come help lead our group! It was a terrific year.@POBMS

The Class of 2023 holds such a special place in my heart because they are the first group of kids I ever taught as a first year teacher in 2017! Congratulations @POBJFK Seniors! I’m so incredibly proud of you all! @POBMS

Students are enjoying our science fiction unit! Hayley wore dinosaur earrings today because the short story, A Sound of Thunder, features a dinosaur! Love her enthusiasm for the story!
