Inspired by @GlobalKdsl we started our math writing experience “Dear Math” this week by reflecting on our math feelings over time. We graphed our feelings to start journaling.

The TSA agent (eyeing my gallon bag of overpacked liquids): 👀 is that a quart size bag…? Me (after hearing @joboaler new math mindset): ISH! What a great conference! Thank you to the whole @MidSchoolMath team and all those who attended!

@MidSchoolMath Remembering her in many ways. Personally, a true friend and confidant. I miss our conversations and always ending the call “alright, we can solve the world’s problems tomorrow”. A great laugh and a better heart. She is always on my mind.

Presented with my good pal @wgibso1 at #nctm23 on our study about improving math identity with a coding project and look who greeted me from the @MidSchoolMath team! Missing my friend tremendously but so grateful to feel her with us there!

A wonderful way to represent every student at school. A rainbow of self portraits using colors by grade. Brings me joy to look at! @ColgateES has a great art teacher 🎨 🌈

Experimenting this year with @pgliljedahl Thinking Classrooms and improving student thinking dispositions. I’d say something’s working… 100% engagement in this problem string…
