@Se_Railway hi, if I buy London - Dover tickets, are they also valid to Deal? We are not sure in which order we are travelling so may want to travel to deal and back from Dover or vice versa..

@tombennett71 I used to have evening choir rehearsals in a primary school and every September until 2022 we used to have a bet on whether they would have changed the picture of Gordon Ramsay visiting the school in 2001. Which was cool, to be fair.

An incredibly small and simple idea I saw today that made the world a better place by exactly one centimetre: every school has hundreds of notice and display boards, and I can guarantee you about 50% of them are tatty homages to work and school shows that took place in 2009. Solution: label every board with a code; assign every board to a named person or team. Once a year, line managers check which boards look like time capsules or binfires, and get their stewards to update them. The school I went to today did this, and every board BAR ONE was smart, decorative or informative. The one, of course, that didn't have a code. This is not turnaround stuff, but it is representative of the way that well-run schools have systems to keep things running, instead of hoping that good people will all just notice and do the right thing spontaneously.
