My heart goes out to Paris. Notre Dame is a symbol of our ability as human beings to unite for a higher purpose—to build breathtaking spaces for worship that no one person could have built on their own. I wish France strength and shared purpose as they grieve and rebuild.

@kimmcurran Ideally, you need an hour to get a sense of the exhibition, a good break, then at least another hour to really get to see the exhibits. If you can’t go twice, 1h30 is the minimum to see the whole thing. I hope that helps! :)

@kimmcurran As you walk in, the stairs on the right take you down to the end of the exhibition. These rooms are much less crowded and, if you’re not burnt out from the first half, equally dazzling.

@kimmcurran The exhibition is enormous and just when you think you’re about to finish, there are another 10 rooms. Everyone i’ve spoken to has been twice or three times. Definitely worth getting the catalogue in advance to prepare - but nothing will prepare you for Codex Amiatinus

@kimmcurran @britishlibrary Hello! The crowd goes in by 30 mins blocks so the initial rooms are hyper crowded on the hour and half hour, but near empty at 20 past etc... If you start near the middle and work back you’ll get plenty of uninterrupted time with the manuscripts which at first seems impossible.
