A busy last day! Group 2 spent the afternoon on the Trapeze and Vertical Challenge! There were a few shaky legs as they reached the top platform but everyone gave it a go today! #pgl @MrsGilmourCPS @MsMunroCPS

Group 1 & 2 had an absolute blast this morning at the Aqua Park! They bounced, slithered, crawled and swam around the course for hours! With the power of a wetsuit, the water felt as warm as a bathtub! 🛁 Miss Munro even gave it a go! #pgl @MrsGilmourCPS @MsMunroCPS

Group 2 & @MsMunroCPS had an absolutely fantastic afternoon on the Giant Swing and Climbing Wall in the lovely sunshine 🌞 We faced our fears of heights and even challenged the instructor to a race up the tower…. and won! 🧗♀️ #pgl #pglnewbywiske @MrsGilmourCPS

Primary 2 have had a busy day preparing for their 1920s themed tea party tomorrow! They made homemade butter by shaking up double cream! They also made some old fashioned bread rolls which they had to measure out, mix and knead into the dough!

P2 went back in time today and experienced a school day in 1923! They recited poetry, used chalk and slates to complete arithmetic and literacy and played traditional games. The teachers were very strict and used ‘the belt’ (strip of paper) to discipline ‘naughty’ children.
