Primary 2

Primary 2 are really enjoying our Bookvent calendar. Every day we are reading a favourite book that someone has brought in from home 📚 🎄

Primary 2 have been thinking about poverty through stories this week. Today we thought about the October holidays and activities that do not cost money. We realised we have so many parks nearby and looked online to see what we can do at @carmondeanlibrary #CPW24 @wlequity

Primary 2 worked so hard during outdoor PE this week. They worked as part of a team taking part in relay races, challenged themselves when throwing javelin and pushed themselves on a circuit. @misspurviscps

P1 were so excited to have some visitors in the class this morning. Thank you to Helen and Bess for coming in to tell us all about guide dogs and how they help people who are visually impaired @misspurviscps

Primary 1 had great fun learning some new playground games with Primary 7 @MrsGilmourCPS on Friday. We had to show good listening so that we could follow all of the instructions @misspurvisCPS

Lots of amazing consolidation and new learning in Primary 1 during ELF this morning. We particularly enjoyed using the magnifying glasses to find some of our common words in pictures 🔍

We thoroughly enjoy reading time with our P7 buddies. P7 are such great reading role models 📚

Primary 1 had a wonderful time at our Carmondean Carnival, organised by our wonderful committee. We raised £621.65 for school funds. Well done everyone and a huge thank you to our committee. #include #nurture
