Thinking about our transition towards a more inclusive school environment for ALL of our students. This resonated with me this morning as I reflected on our @tweetsomemoore visit. ♥️😁
Lots of new learning to come.
Open hearts. Open minds. Together.

I've been a math educator since 2003 and Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics by @pgliljedahl has more potential to improve the way we teach mathematics than any other book I have ever read.
Here's why I think we must all read it:

Festive lunch is one of our most favourite things about our “12 Days of Christmas.” The Sherwood made an extra special meal of turkey and all the fixings and we enjoyed it with our classes. We are humbled by donations families sent in to ensure that all Ss could enjoy! @GEDSB
With peaceful minds and hearts, we honoured and paid respects to our veterans today. Here we feature our choir singing Dona Nobis Pacem, and artwork created by students of various ages. Thank you to Mrs. Aldred for directing such a lovely tribute. @GEDSB
Congratulations to our Boys Intermediate Softball team for making it into the playoffs today. Our boys played with heart and determination. I am supremely proud of how they played today. Well done boys!

Powerful discussions, moments of silence and reflection, commitment to learning our history and moving forward in a way that promotes healing. Thank you to staff and students for your solidarity in this restorative journey. @GEDSB#everychildmatters
Thank you, Little Ray’s, for bringing some very interesting creatures to visit us this afternoon! Grades K-5 learned about each animal, how it adapts to its environment and protects itself. We also got to touch them! What an experience! 🐍🦎🦔🕷@GEDSB
