In February we made door sized Bonhommes for Carnaval. We had some amazing submissions especially our life sized real Bonhomme pinata! Thanks to the awesome staff at St. Pius X for their creativity! @TCDSB

Had an amazing opportunity to help with carnaval this year in my new school community. Happy Carnaval to St. Pius X! Happy to bring "cafe avec Bonhomme" to the school!

Our gr. 6s enjoyed creating Movie trailers today with camp film in a box! I 100% recommend them for a workshop. It puts their acting and story telling skills to the test! They did great and had so much fun! @TCDSB

Our grade 6s spent the morning painting landscape art inspired by the group of 7! Thank you @BlankCanvasesTO for coming in! @stpiusxtcdsb @TCDSB

Our students looked at how graffiti is displayed around us, what some famous artists are and how to create graffiti art with their name using the art skills from our discussions. I was impressed with their techniques!

Today our gr. 6 students took a look at the ecosystem in our local park. Their task was to find the herbivore, omnivores, producers and consumers. @stpiusxtcdsb @TCDSB

Our grade 6s had so much fun running for Terry Fox today! Many of them were running for family and family friends are or were cancer fighters!

New school, new grade, new last name! Let's go year 7! I'm beyond excited to be teaching grade 6 this year!

Officially can start changing my name to Mrs. NIEMCZYK come this september!

Newest qualifications include: Professional Masters of Education in Assessment and Evaluation from Queen's University!

Day 2 of our @OLOfLourdes444 Grad trip: rideau hall, prayers at the basilica, bowling, fajitas, and a visit to the War museum. 2 provinces in one day as our grads are bowling in Gatineau, Quebec! @TCDSB

Jersey day! We have jersey day during Carnava to remember the famous story of "The hockey sweater" when a boy received a maple leafs sweater instead of the Montreal Canadian. @olivieri_a18743 we are ML fans. It was great to see our diversity in our favorite team jerseys, too!
