@m_chiles I’ve tried this in the past… got tricky when more than one member of staff wanted the same time slot… tried it with a shared document lol 😂 they just ousted easy other!!

***OPERATIONAL DUTIES*** This year we did sometime different on INSET day. We provided a blank copy of the duty rota with the duty points. We asked staff to pick their duty slots which would have the least impact on their workload. This is the first time we have tried it and it will be interesting to see the impact. #TheLongdendaleLegacy

@Oldskoolteach @MissCatnach I did with all 3 of mine! They are strong, confident, capable and not afraid of hard work: now 20, 16 & 9, all excelling and all cite mum as their role model. They always did everything with me first too 🫶🏻 Good, reliable childcare was always my glue-she still rescues the eldest!

@MissCatnach I went back to work full time after 16 weeks maternity. She is now 19 and a strong, independent young woman forging her own path. She cites having a strong role model in her formative years as being really influential in her development. You go mama and make your child proud!

And so ends my twelve weeks of maternity leave... I have had the most magical time learning how to be a mummy and getting to know this incredible tiny human. She will grow up seeing me work hard at a career that means a hell of a lot to me, and that starts tomorrow 🤍💪🏼🥰

@tombennett71 A fair few kids (boys particularly) when we discussed it in class, said they didn’t see the point in watching past the first episode as they already knew what happened, so why did they need to watch the next three? The girls (mostly) were quick to challenge this and debate!

Finally watched Adolescence. The world’s given its take and here’s my microscopic contribution: the school in episode 2 is entirely plausible. Writing its depiction off as an ‘insult’ to teachers is tribal. I’ve seen many schools with this decaying level of culture. What resonated? 🧵

Happy, welcoming, kind, warm relationships, high expectations… strong pastoral support 💪🏻 that’s my school 💚

Hi all, Due to shortage of MFL specialists we have decided to scrap languages in its current form and get a TA to babysit while the kids do Duolingo on their phones. The current Year 11 pupils will be withdrawn from French to concentrate on their Maths and English. Thanks x
