Students updated where they were at on our essay task list at the end of each class. It helped students keep track of their progress and helped me figure out who to check in with at the start of the next class. 10/10 Would recommend.

These colored cards (laminated construction paper) have become my favorite tool to use. Students show their status through whichever color they have showing. Red = Need help now. Yellow = Minor question. Green = Just fine. Blue = Willing to help someone else. #iTeachLMS

We had a transitions scavenger hunt today in ELA. Groups read an exemplar essay looking for different types of transitions that we could then use in our own essays. #iTeachLMS
