The rules around hunger strikes are that they must do everything possible to address and resolve the demands.
That has NOT been done.
To save their lives, they must meet and respond to the demands.

I have been doing all I can – including sitting down with BMA yesterday – to stop these strikes.
Unfortunately, we haven’t reached an agreement.
My entire focus now is working with the NHS team here and across the country to get through the next five days. 1/3

Every word of this disgusts me. An attempt to say FGM is not mutilation, not harmful, is celebratory, makes sex better, is just like adding a piercing, happens to boys too really, happens to trans people too and you’re racist if you say it’s bad. jme.bmj.com/content/early/…

You’re forgetting all the users and members forced out during the period in which the law was misinterpreted and misunderstood by those running the ponds. Now the law is crystal clear: women only spaces where the aim is to respect women’s dignity and privacy are entirely lawful, and as women means those born female, allowing trans-IDing males to use the space -whether or not anyone complains - is discrimination against women and non-trans-IDing men, as it has become a mixed sex space from which some members of male sex are excluded, and all members of the female sex are denied a place where they can gather in the absence of men.

Is the appeal to be based solely on the documents? By which I mean not only Kemp's judgment, replete with errors of law, but transcripts of the evidence heard in January and July, plus the bundles submitted by the Claimant and the Respondents and revealed in disclosure? Or does Sandie have to endure a re-run of character-smearing testimonies?

The tribunal can reconsider a judgment of its own motion to correct a simple error. If the quotes attributed to the EAT in Forstater and the Supreme Court in Lee v Ashers were actually from other cases, easy enough to correct the reference. But I don't think that is the case here
