@mooneyreads1 I have never heard of story bird. I need to check it out! Thank you for sharing :)
English

Story bird is such a great writing technology tool that allows students to create their own stories and share them with people outside their school community. #MakeLearningFunThroughTechnology

@KathrynMannes @ajpodchaski I totally agree! Students should be able to take their computers home.
English

@ajpodchaski A2: With 1:1 this year, I believe all students in all grade levels have a Chromebook. Grades 3-12 are able to take theirs home each night while K-2 is left at school. #edtechchat
English

Q2: Does 1:1 mean you have to have a laptop or desktop for every student? #edtechchat
English

@KathrynMannes @coach_Juneau Yes! I love that about flip. It allows students to be able to participate even when they are shy! Thank you flip! ❤️
English

@coach_Juneau @Ms_ShellyCarter Hey @coach_Juneau It looks like Flip (formerly known as Flipgrid) has you covered with some tricks! But I will allow students to put an emoji over their face or do a voice over with a picture/visual aid on the screen.
English

What technology platforms do you like to use in your classroom? #edtech
English

@KathrynMannes I have not tried ClassKick yet, I need to check that out! Thank you for sharing that platform.
English

@Ms_ShellyCarter I have used NearPod, Flip, and Padlet. I really enjoy using both NearPod and Flip, so this was a tough call. ClassKick is another one of my favorite platforms to use. I haven’t tried Lumio, so I will have to check that one out!
English

@mooneyreads1 Same here! I also like how teachers can create their own nearpods too.
English

@Ms_ShellyCarter I love how engaging nearpod is! The kids love it too.

✅ Notice everyone.
✅ Root for everyone.
✅ Empathize with everyone.
This whiteboard message shows Ss that they have the power to build a positive classroom culture! ❤️️
