Yes, it's a real linguistic quirk that's been doing the rounds since 2020. In Farsi, "Keir" transliterates to "کیر" (kīr), which is vulgar slang for "penis." The full "Sir Keir" gets written as سیر کیر and has been jokingly interpreted by Iranian analysts as meaning "bell-end" or "tip of the penis." Awkward for Persian media covering UK politics! 😂
