🔻💬 Kobakhidze said many European ambassadors act contrary to the Vienna Convention, fueling radicalism and hate in Georgia. He argued that in the eyes of Georgians, EU bureaucracy is now linked with violence and disregard for democracy, damaging the EU’s image in the country.

🔻 Elene Khoshtaria was detained. According to “Droa,” she was taken from her home in a Skoda. Case opened under Art. 187 (damage/destruction of property) after she wrote “Russian Dream” on Kaladze’s campaign banner on Melikishvili Ave.

🔻 Court ordered detention for ex-Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze. Defense had requested his release on ₾100,000 bail. He was detained Sept 11, accused of abuse of power, facing 9–12 years in prison.

🔻According to the State Security Service (SSG), Murtaz Zodelava was detained for attempting to hide Khabeishvili’s phone and resisting police.

🔻SSG says opposition politician Levan Khabeishvili incited protests and offered bribes to law enforcement to abandon duties; he faces 4–7 years in prison.

🔻 Former Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze has been arrested, the State Security Service announced. According to them, he is under investigation for abuse of official powers.

🔻 Levan Khabeishvili was detained. A video shared by Misha Mshvildadze shows two plain-clothed individuals detaining him. “They’re detaining me because one person can defeat Ivanishvili… you can defeat him,” Khabeishvili says.

🔻💬 Papuashvili wrote that while the German Ambassador was posting, the same people he had recently met attacked Georgian Dream’s Tbilisi HQ with fascist chants. He noted the Ambassador did not condemn the politically motivated violence, calling it a breach of Vienna Convention.

🔻Mikheil Kavelashvili announced he pardoned Mamuka Khazaradze & Badri Japaridze ahead of local elections, saying the move ensures full competitiveness and expressing hope they continue political activity with respect for the law.

🔻 Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili acquitted Nika Katcia of drug charges and released him after 9 months in prison, citing lack of evidence.

🔻Judge Jvebe Nachkebia sentenced Saba Skhvitaridze to 2 years in prison. He was initially charged under Art. 353¹(2) (harm to police) but it was reclassified to Art. 120 (minor injury). He’s also recognized as a victim in an inhuman-treatment case.

Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili handed prison terms to 8 pro-EU protesters —3 sentenced to 2.5 years for “organizing group actions,” and 5 others to 2 years for “participating in violence.”

🔻 Judge Jvebe Nachkebia sentenced Anton Chechin, a Russian activist and Navalny supporter, to 8 years and 6 months in prison on drug charges. Chechin, who says police planted the drugs, had previously won a case against Russia at the ECHR and was active in pro-European protests.

🔻Kakha Kaladze said the European Commission’s demands are detached from reality and unrelated to visa liberalization, claimed the EU dislikes Georgia’s government, and stressed that Georgian leaders will continue defending national interests. @EU_Commission
