I was phase 1 but they still let in hordes of illegals.
I was then phase 2 but I saw my friends and colleagues screwed over in the marketplace by people doing the job at a lower wage than the market rates for natives of that experience.
I became phase 3 when I saw that the brown 'high-IQ' contributors by and large weren't smarter or better than my American colleagues that were just let go because they cost more and had debt to real schools instead of brown diploma mills.
I hit phase 4 when I realized the entire thing was always a scam and that we have no reason to allow brown or any color immigrants into our country unless they are TRULY exceptional once in a generation talent.
