@Concern70732755 Alberta Values are what all Canadians used to think of as Canadian values. These days, the eastern PM tells us that Muslin values are Canadian values. SMH.

@vitamindees Thank you Dee 😎😎. I’ll definitely give it a try. I started making sourdough bread about 6 months ago, and haven’t bought a loaf of bread since.
Nice work!
This is discard but you could use active it might just make it rise a bit more and give
It a slightly more sourdough flavour.
SOURDOUGH DISCARD BROWNIES
1/2 C unsalted butter
2 C semi sweet chocolate chips
½ C cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 C granulated sugar
½ C dark brown sugar
½ C sourdough discard
1 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
• Preheat oven to 350°F, line a 9" x 9" baking dish with parchment paper.
• Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
• Add the chocolate chips, vanilla extract & cocoa powder. Stir until melted & smooth & set it aside to cool down.
• In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, brown sugar and granulated sugar with an electric mixer for 7-10 minutes. Add the sourdough discard & chocolate mixture to the bowl beat on low until combined. Add the flour & salt & stir with a spatula until just combined. The batter will be very thick, I mixed in kitchen aid the whole way worked well.
• Pour into dish & smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes. I did 40 in a gas stove.
• Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan after they come out of the oven. Remove the brownies from the pan by lifting them with the parchment paper and cut into squares. 😋
These sourdough brownies are the best brownies I’ve ever had. Crunchy on top, fudgy in the middle. 👩🏼🍳 (Quality control agrees.)
Tomorrow, sourdough croissants. 🥐

(The Kingdom of David - historic map for those wondering how the region looked over 2000 years ago, and how deep the roots of the Jewish people run in these lands)
@NoLeftTurns@jacqueline_m19 And before all of this, even before the Jewish people, there were the Ammonites that inhabited the region. But they went extinct 66 million years ago. And they were NOT members of a Palestinian state.
