If the Rockets give Amen Thompson a max contract, it will cripple their future. Excellent player. Championship-caliber player. Not a #1 or #2 option on a contender and therefore not worth max money.

one time me and a guy were in a three-person row and our middle seat was empty every time a new person would board the plan i’d joke about how i hoped it wasn’t the person for the middle seat we made it all the way to the final boarding call and the seat was still empty and i was so excited at the last possible moment a person stepped onto the plane and i jokingly said to the guy “aw man i bet this fucking idiot is our center seat” it was she was his wife that was the most uncomfortable flight of my life

Everyone loves draft grades and I totally get that. Just keep in mind that grades are being put on tests that haven't been taken yet.

@BillSimmons Was it a basketball play in the 4th when Dort reached in on Jaylen, and Jaylen immediately went up as if he was going to shoot a three and got FT’s? Not an OKC fan but the bias here is frustrating, Jaylen can’t have it both ways where he foul baits, and then complains about it.

You can hear Jaylen yell “that’s not basketball.” He’s right. A bunch of stars have adopted this specific “drive hard left, draw contact on a semi-impossible shot, then flail” move and it keeps working. Refs have to stop calling it. It sucks to watch.

@TheDunkCentral @Tjonesonthenba This is hypocrisy at its finest. OKC played Shai for portions over a couple years to gather better players. They can’t be made at Utah for doing the exact same thing.
