🔨 BANWAVE A new detection targeting XIM cheating devices was enabled today that resulted in over 2,000 accounts being permanently banned. This follows a detection we enabled in January which targeted Titan cheat devices and resulted in over 1,000 accounts being banned. Use of third party cheating peripherals is not tolerated in Apex. 🔨

@HYPERMYSTx I heard that they received a warning message on console for cheating.

Any reports of console accounts being banned from the new XIM detection? If this banwave was PC-only, it would overlook where usage is often higher And the total bans would likely be much higher if consoles were included.

@PlayApex Fix the cheat devices situation on consoles. Perma bann the accs plus the complete console with identifying the Mac address. The game is dying and a complete joke on the console.

Heads up, legends. We have pushed a quick fix for a couple of issues in @PlayApex: -Mad Maggie's Ult will now destroy doors as intended -Players will now see the appropriate visual effects when knocking an enemy using the R-99, R-301, and Flatline

Heads up, legends: We've temporarily disabled one of the sound effects associated with the Bird of Prey R-99 found in Rampart Care Packages in Wildcard. You will no longer hear the beeping noise associated with its missiles while we work on adjusting it to be less intrusive.

Hey legends, to clear up some confusion: This pop-up appears in @PlayApex when we've released certain types of updates while you're currently in the game. When you see it, you should make sure to restart your client so any fixes we've deployed can be applied.
