Some fun facts: He only applied to one school. No GRE. No TOEFL. No publications. No Application School Fees. (I wrote a letter for it to be waived on “indigency” grounds.) He told me then in December 2020, “I just need you to write me a letter of recommendation. I believe that if the admissions committee reads your letter, I’d be given a fully funded offer.” Prior to that time, I had never written a LOR for an MT Scholar before. I did. Less than three weeks later, he got his fully funded PhD offer. I wrote a reference letter for his EB-2 NIW and also for his job. He believes if I write it, the answer will be yes 😁😆 Now he’s starting a really nice job in the Bay Area with an approved EB-2 NIW in the bag. One of the most beautiful stories out there. It couldn’t have happened to a better person. He was the one that started the @MtScholarships handle and managed it single-handedly for years. He also oversaw the creation of the MTScholarships website that we still use to this day. I’m just a very happy “dad” right now.

I feel so proud right now. My boy has successfully defended his PhD dissertation! From Bachelors to PhD in less than four years. Already published multiple papers. Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present 2020 MT Scholar, Dr. Etinosa James Osaro! @theOsaroJ

I see people who have touched alot of millions and still went to zero. Someone made over $2M on here and still became broke few years later. Even you, you might still go back to zero after seeing that amount. It all balls down to your knowledge about money, about income, and about expenditure. your ratio in owning a money making assets/business to a money-taking liabiliies. owning more profit oriented businesses/Assets should be prioritize against, black tax and all kind of liabilities. even with all these knowledge, you can still fall back to zero, You need Grace of God because he chooses to bless whom ever he wants.

1, 3, 5 and 8, don't near it if you know you don't have another capital somewhere to support it 1 - You'll definitely need connect and there's always gbese happening from blocks breaking unnecessarily 3 - The worst in the list, if you're going to be giving it out for someone to bring in return, you'll nearly run mAd because those people will give you hbp from something spoilt today to LASTMA, Road Safety wahala 5 - The first issues you'll be having is from the distribution boys, you'll be hearing they haven't been paid after like 5 months of working for you, they'll tell you their customers haven't pay them yet, they'll just leave with your money 8 - This one especially for those who don't know anything about it, they'll show you shege, you'll be seeing customers insi the shop but you won't know where the money goes When you now send them away, they'll take the New customers they got from your shop to anywhere they're going to operate

Alhamdulillah. I'm back. 50 days ago, I did something most people in life/crypto fear… I went completely OFFLINE. No WhatsApp. No Twitter (X). No Facebook. No Telegram. No Instagram. No YouTube. No Calls/Messages No charts. No notifications. No “gm”. At first… it felt illegal. My fingers kept reaching for apps that weren’t there. Phantom vibrations, Mexc notis e.t.c. The urge to “just check the market real quick.” Because let’s be honest: Social media isn’t just a tool anymore, it’s a dopamine machine. And crypto? Crypto moves so fast it trains your brain to believe: “If you log off, you’ll miss the opportunity of a lifetime.” So the first week was the hardest. No calls/messages While CT was arguing. While influencers were shilling. While the market was doing what it always does… I was silent. Week 2… Something strange happened. The noise in my head started reducing. No more: ❌ Panic candles ❌ FOMO threads ❌ Fake alpha ❌ Emotional trading triggered by timelines Just… clarity. By week 4, I realized something powerful: Most of what we think is “urgent” in this space is just well-packaged distraction. The market didn’t disappear. Opportunities didn’t vanish. The world didn’t end. But my focus? It came back stronger. By day 50, I understood the real alpha most people are missing: 👉 You don’t always need more information. 👉 You need less noise. Logging off didn’t make me fall behind. It made me dangerous. Because in a market driven by emotion… The calm ones eat first. I’m back now. Sharper. Calmer. More selective. And if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the noise… Maybe your next big move isn’t another trade. Maybe it’s a log off🧘‍♂️📉 For those of you that couldn't reached me but tagged me for my whereabouts...I'm really sorry you had to experienced such moment. Especially @BornBlackSeed @arewa_alphashow Major, @N3RS3R @nas_dotcom @hxbeeton and every other person I couldn't mention, I really appreciate you all. To those that were opportuned to reached me via phone call, I'm very much happy for you checking on me especially @Haeroon_eth @Malam_Santalee @Al_ameenX Barkanmu da Shan Ruwa. #RamadanKareem 🌙 #Crypto #Web3 #MentalClarity #Discipline #Alhajin_Birni #Lifestyle

I met a girl in 2022 who said she did crypto. She begged me to invest in $SOL. It was around $8 at the time. I wanted to flex, so I bought $10K worth. I ended up selling for a $310K profit. The girl is now my wife.

The pattern is painfully familiar: flashy posts with rented Lambos, private jets (often just one-day charters or stock photos), leased mansions, and edited profit screenshots from demo accounts or outright fakes. They sell the dream I made millions trading forex, now pay $997–$5k for my course to do the same but the real money comes from course sales, not consistent trading edges. Real profitable traders rarely have time or need to hustle courses to strangers.

There are some forex traders who are scammers. They post fake lifestyles to sell courses. They flex demo accounts to collect your money and then cash out. Some even make deals with car dealers, agreeing on a number of months to be with the car before exchanging for another one. The crypto space has the most genuine traders, so don’t compare!

If you have money, do a Masters degree that has work placement/Internship in the UK🇬🇧. This will give you a very good edge, especially in the job market. But remember, you will have to pay more than the normal 1-year Msc.

I worked with well over 50 UI engineering interns/students from 2021 to 2025. I assure you it was a beautiful experience. Really really brilliant minds they are. Male o, female o, it's impressive. Even a guy on a 2:2 CGPA that you could think is academically not good enough (you would be wrong though!), you could perceive intelligence (and creativity in tackling real-world engineering challenges) from him/her. Top guys fr!

You clearly don’t know anything about the caliber of students who make it into university of Ibadan, that’s why you’re surprised 40% of a class can graduate with a first class. You will be sitting in a random lecture theatre only to find out you’re sitting next to the guy with the highest jamb score. Your roommate is the girl who had the best WAEC result in South West. You really don’t know what it takes to gain admission into the university of Ibadan. The average Law, Medical or Engineering student in UI is one of the best students in Nigeria.

So this guy texted me yesterday. He said he’s been trading for over 5 years now. Got 18 courses from popular FXNG traders. In over 20 Telegram groups. Still can't pay rent from trading. I asked him to walk me through his normal trading day. He said: "I wake up, check charts immediately. If price is moving, I don't want to miss it… so I jump in." "If it goes against me, I hold. Because it might come back." Hope. "If I close in loss, I feel frustrated. So I enter again to fix it." Ego. "If I win, I increase lot size. That's when I should capitalize, right?" Greed. I didn't even argue with him. The issue wasn't strategy. It was identity. He's approaching the market like someone trying to escape being broke, not like someone building skill. When you trade to survive, you force trades. When you trade to prove something, you oversize. When you trade from fear, you hesitate. Rent money energy and professional trader energy are not the same. Until you stop trading to "make money"... you'll never make money consistently.
