I remember dating this guy for 5 years, and not once did he invest in my business. He literally watched me struggle to build my brand from zero to what it is today. It got to a point where I stopped even asking him for help because I already knew the answer. I just did everything myself. I was young, naive, and genuinely loved him, that’s why I stayed. A few months later, his phone got stolen and they hacked his wallet and moved his bitcoin worth millions of naira. I knew his phone was stolen, but he never told me about the money. One day we were at a family gathering and his siblings and friends started talking about it because they assumed I already knew. The way I looked at him😭😂 And this man said he didn’t tell me because he knew I would say that if he had invested that money into my business, it would’ve been better than thieves taking it. I won’t even lie, that was one of the happiest days of that relationship for me😭😂 I was SO happy his money got stolen. His friends were shocked that I wasn’t sad or sympathetic. Meanwhile, I genuinely did not give a single damn. Till we broke up, he never invested one naira in my business. But somehow, the day his millions disappeared remains one of my happiest memories from that relationship😭😂
