Do find the TOB selection a bit puzzling Rare to see a wing in the 23 jersey, definitely an argument that an extra forward is the play for Twickenham Don't see a huge value in making an impact substitution on the wing and not sure it's the best option to cover injuries either

Prendergast is taking some pelting from from idiots online. Yeah, he’s probably not a right fit for the 10, but imagine him or a family member looking at the comments. He’s a young lad, ffs. Your mental health would take some hit. No one deserves that amount of abuse.

Crowley on now is a great call. Big fan of Prendergast but he is not the 10 Ireland need in this game. They need an experienced game manager, and Crowley is exactly that.

Prendergast is overhated. Yes hes currently a liability but he still does do much at an incredible level. These reps are key for his development (And I dont think Crowley/Byrne change the result)

Sam Prendergast is 22 years old. Was reading Johnny Sexton’s book again. He broke into the Leinster team when he was 23 and the Ireland team when he was 24. He had plenty of doubters then. Sam has an incredibly high ceiling. He gets slagged a lot, but wrong to write him off!

Prendergast’s glaring weakness is his defence. His general gameplay and skill set is very good, I can assure you he is not the issue in this Ireland team. Ireland are definitely not a better outfit when Crowley starts, such a forced argument based on the Sexton and ROG debates

I'm not saying this because I think prendergast isn't good enough, but I just think Crowley should be the starting 10 - and then Sam off the bench, just take a bit of the pressure off. He's improving but we keep setting him up to fail.

This lad is not international standard. It’s easy metres for the opponents when he plays. Ireland will suffer against top 6 teams with this lad at 1st Five. Club baller at best

Ireland not as diabolical as the scoreline suggests. Every dropped ball from both teams bouncing France’s way. Dickson giving very harsh penalties against Ireland while France get ‘warnings’. Oh and the TMO is apparently watching the same one-screen stream that the audience is
