Had the absolute pleasure of seeing 26 smiling little Ukrainian faces today as they began their next chapter in the Irish school system. Gut wrenching to see their little lives turned upside down but so heartening to see people go to such lengths to welcome our new friends 🇺🇦🇮🇪

I like an A and B approach for difficult conversations. A for listening. Leave for a day before coming back to B- discussion. Time to reflect and think calmly allows for a more respectful & productive talk. @patriciamannixm @niamhickey @Leaders_SoE #pdsl #leadership
