The desperate efforts of the enemy, by the grace of Almighty God and divine assistance, and through timely actions and joint operations of the warriors of Islam in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the heroic Basij, and the law enforcement forces, to rescue their downed fighter pilot have failed.
The enemy's invading aircraft in southern Isfahan, including two Black Hawk helicopters and one C-130 military transport plane, were hit and are burning in the fire of the wrath of the heroic warriors of Islam.

The US: 2 US C-130 planes that were sent to rescue the pilots got stuck in sand in Iran and our military destroyed them so that Iran won't capture them.
IRGC: The 2 C-130 planes were shot down by us and were not destroyed by the US military. WE SHOT THEM DOWN.
I believe in Iran's version of the story because many of the rescue team were injured. If the planes weren't shot down, how come the crew members were injured??

They also lost a little bird helicopter in the same location which makes that story even less believable.

Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot.
You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic.
Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier.
The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen.
That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons.
A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.

85% of all buildings were destroyed &18 of the 22 major cities saw 50% destruction.

Amazing. Lost two C-130s to save one guy who was only there because his F-15 got knocked out of the skies (which resulted in downed/damaged Blackhawk helicopters and a downed A-10. Incredulous amount of hardware lost in this fiasco and the U.S. is calling it a win somehow.

THEY CELEBRATED A RESCUE AND FORGOT TO MENTION THE DISASTER
They celebrated "most daring rescue in US history."
Forgot to mention the jet was shot down by a missile that shouldn't exist.
They celebrated getting the Colonel out alive.
Forgot to mention he was TRAPPED for 48 hours climbing a 7,000ft ridge.
They celebrated the dozens of aircraft in the extraction.

After this F-15 pilot recovty chaos, I hope Trump got a wake up call to the chaos he would face in a ground invation.
3 aircrafts were destroyed to rescue the two F-15 pilots: Two C-130 Hercules ($140 Million Total), 1 Warthog ($80 Million).
Iran is not flat land. It is a difficult terrain for ground operations, especially for rescue. Iran's military capabilities caused the rescue operation to take longer, and according to officials, U.S. rescue members were injured.
Now imagine a ground invasion with hundreds of soldiers. The U.S. will take casualties. It will be very difficult to extract that many people.
It is time for the U.S. to exit this war Israel started. Iran will open the Hormuz with time and with their new rules, and the region will cool off. The U.S. has nothing to gain from this war.
