What a perfect way to go into a Champions League semi-final second leg for Arsenal. Massive energy boost to players, fans, everyone....
Still lots of work to be done in the league, but tonight's result will turbo-charge what should already be an incredible atmosphere tomorrow night.
West Ham on Sunday is obviously massive, but it's all about Atletico now. A huge opportunity awaits. Can't wait.

Saturday: Arsenal beat Fulham to go six points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Monday: Manchester City drop points against Everton to hand Arsenal control in the title race.

@AFCAMDEN We definitely need to freshen things up but best case scenario is if we continue as we are and then rest against West Ham if we’ve made it to the final and provided City have dropped against Everton. Until then it’s all about staying best team and relying on in-game management.

Think Mikel needs to change it up on Saturday. Both full-backs, Norgaard/MLS in midfield and Jesus up top. Thought Madueke looked closer to his early season form so he can go again. Partly rotating but partly to get freshness into the team after an intense game last night.

@Dav1dOLeary I remember back in the GG days we’d be labelled underdogs but still win anyway. Lowkey prefer that tag - less pressure on the team if the media don’t fancy us to win it.

Those still complaining tonight are the same that expected us to drop points.
We won and that’s all that matters. Weds we’re away against a different opponent that will play with a different setup- we go there, adapt and do our best to get a positive result.

There’s no reason to even have any head loss lol.
We are firmly still in position to win the league and Champions league.
We need to score goals and Arteta will have no choice but to actually coach an attack.

I mean fans bring these valid concerns early on for a discussion, which 9/10 is battered away by you guys. When it comes to fruition you guys then end up policing how fans should feel, which ends up doing the exact opposite of what you want

When Arsenal get on a bad run, there are people who will sit on here whingeing and raging and sniping all day. They think they are protecting their feelings (they’re not- it doesn’t work) and they think there is some value in being the first to say ‘see! I told you everything was shit!’ (Even though nobody cares if you were). But none of it actually has any use, it doesn’t make the ragers and the snipers feel better, ultimately and it just irritates everyone else. Misery loves company and only ever produces more misery. Best not to engage, purse your lips and whistle that’s the thing, etc 🙂
