Here is just a quick message to everyone who is currently saying that 'Crypto Gaming is Dead'. Web 3 has had a difficult time over the past 4 years, I should know, I've been there every single step of the way. I don't know if it'll improve in 2025, but here is what I do know 👇 Right now I have 4-5 games I play on a weekly basis. Illuvium, Off the Grid, Pirate Nation, Marvel Rivals, POE2. What you will notice is they all fit a very different genre, and 3 of them are Crypto Games. Now sure, I obviously have a bias towards Crypto Gaming as a side effect of my love for the industry but that doesn't discount the fact that I stopped playing Apex, and basically every other strategy game I used to play in favour of Web 3 gaming. Now these games are still far from perfect, and they still aren't quite as good as their Web 2 competitors, but the games we have in this industry today are at least 10-20x better than what we had only 12 months ago. Video games take 3-4 years to develop to a high quality and we are just starting to see this industry hit that level of maturity. Over the course of 2025 we will see the current wave of games improve drastically. And over the next 3-4 years we will see the next wave of games launch having learnt lessons from the mistakes of the industry. Converting non Crypto enthusiasts to this space has been insanely difficult, and OTG made some great strides in 2024. But like with everything else when its comes to adoption, its little by little and then ALL AT ONCE. I don't know when it will happen, I don't know what the catalyst will be, but what I do know is it is inevitable. As long as Crypto Games continue to get better each and every month, we get closer and closer to that point where people will look back and say it was obvious.
