@VisionaryNutBox @hey_butter Recent trips to Covent Garden Tesco and M&S suggest that money is no longer necessary. Well groomed tourists were filling their bags and walking out. History teaches that population growth creates scarcity. Several countries recognise this by restricting access to health care.

Although money no longer exists, we learn that doing something "would use a month of transporter credits" i.e. use of resources is rationed. Sounds very similar to WW2 stamps/coupons. Allocation was not equal.

@Terror_Alarm Flaring is normal. Whether there is more than usual misdirects attention. If wells have been closed it won't be as easy as turning taps to re-open them. The only indication at distance that wells are closed may be absence of flaring. "Nothing to see here" may indicate troubles.
