Keep the Beat Week is in full swing! Don't miss the chance to explore the Go-Go inspired murals across the district, including the iconic 'Go-Go City' mural near Howard University. Painted by Kaliq Crosby in 2021, it beautifully captures the vibrant spirit of DC! #KeepTheBeatWeek

If you didn't catch it, the unveiling from yesterday was a resounding success. MuralsDC extends a heartfelt appreciation to @MazPazUno for his stunning work and to the @AnacostiaBID for their dedicated efforts.

Anacostia has always been a hub of art, culture, and creative expression. The Anacostia Arts and Culture District is uplifting that history. MuralsDC is a win-win. Not only does it deter graffiti, but it supports local artists and fills our neighborhoods with fantastic art.

9/09 (3:12 PM): Heads up, DC! The @NWS_BaltWash has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the southeastern portions of the District of Columbia until 6PM. Never walk, drive, or bike through flooded areas. Turn around, don’t drown!
