@buttflossed @mouthcamtrope @Cthulhu_OwO Yes I understand that you are retarded. You can try that as your second defense after your argument of "it's just videos and images" fails to convince them to let you walk free when you're being arrested for CSAM.

@RealZorru @Cthulhu_OwO @Ecchi___ 4) This ignores counter-evidence: A proper analysis of Japan should seriously address the lack of a clear spike in child sexual abuse rates despite decades of legal and culturally prominent lolicon. This thesis appears to downplay or reframe that data to fit its narrative.

@RealZorru @Cthulhu_OwO @Ecchi___ 3)Weak causal evidence relying on: -Historical/cultural anecdotes. -Correlation between lolicon's popularity and certain social phenomena. -Claims about "normalization" without robust causal data linking consumption to increased offending rates. -Selective engagement with sources

And this is why we don't legislate based on "vibes". We wind up with puritanical moralfags hanging you for possession of loli hentai.

@RealZorru @Cthulhu_OwO @Ecchi___ Outlining it for you now, so you don't accuse me of shifting goalposts later. You need recent, credible data showing Japan has significantly higher CSA rates than comparable countries because of fictional material, not despite it. You need to show causation, not just correlation.

@RealZorru @Ecchi___ @Cthulhu_OwO Explain how there hasn't been an epidemic of abuse in Japan over the decades that this material has been widely available. If fiction were such a significant driver for real abuse as you claim it is, we would have seen a clearer signal of it by now. We haven't. Why is this?

@Ecchi___ @Cthulhu_OwO The argument of “It just fiction” is very weak. If it was just fiction then it would have absolute zero effect on the world but fiction does have an effect on world people don’t realize it.

@buttflossed @mouthcamtrope @Cthulhu_OwO As I've outlined the material's creation and consumption involves and propagates abuse of real victims. Your consumption of the material creates more demand for the material, which creates more demand for real abuse. It re-traumatizes the victim itself appearing in the material.

@buttflossed @mouthcamtrope @Cthulhu_OwO Photos & videos in which a real living victim was abused. It's consumption re-traumatizes victims & creates demand for even more abuse. You're equating such material to fictional drawings, which at no stage of the process of creation nor consumption victimizes any living person.

@WestlandMi58947 @Cthulhu_OwO If the drawing is of a real living person who is a minor, then I would agree it's a problem as there's an actual victim. If it's a drawing of some completely fictional character that doesn't exist, no matter what that character looks like, there's no reason for anyone to care.

@Cthulhu_OwO If you post a picture of a character normally regardless of age ok, but if an artist decides to draw the same character in a sexual outfit then it's clearly meant to arouse someone and if the character is clearly drawn in a way to resemble a child then we got a problem.

@bababbafu @UnironicAshe @DilanIsBack @deadh0es Yes and murderers have been found to consume violent media, which isn't enough to prove such media causes people to murder. Correlation in rare edge cases isn't enough to prove causality between the fictional material and real world harm in the general population.

@UnironicAshe @DilanIsBack @deadh0es I meant in general. As in if you engage in media meant for a shitty crowd you’re supporting them. But since you want an example one is Tsutomu Miyazaki. Tsutomu Miyazaki murdered, molested and kidnapped 4-7 year old girls and they found lolicon material in his house. Thats who.

@Otakiom It's also to misdirect limited police resources. If they're going after fiction, there will be less resources to protect real victims with, giving the predators more breathing room. And less chance the police stumble onto some loose end of one of their trafficking networks.

The Western world is increasingly veering toward a dangerous shift involving the control and censorship of shotacon and lolicon content, driven by the growing legal tendency to equate such material with pedophilia and the sexual exploitation of minors. Western politicians—deeply implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal—prefer to punish drawings rather than confront the real issue of human trafficking, specifically child trafficking. It is all too easy to shift the focus regarding pedophilia onto shota and loli content; doing so allows these politicians to mask the fact that they are the true sexual predators harming real children.

@TSucker69472305 @NSecondarius @bensonbickleton @PunishedPgans The logic then appears to be that sexualizing a character is ok, as long as the fictional number on the wiki is high enough? If you're simply stating your personal preferences, I can respect that. So long as you're not advocating for harassment of others for not following them.

@TSucker69472305 @NSecondarius @bensonbickleton @PunishedPgans Ok then by your standards, a character like Shinobu who is 598 would be perfectly fine to see "romantically" or "sexually" as she's not "underage". Or will you apply selective standards to her? If you say Shinobu isn't ok, then you agree that fictional age is just a number.

@NSecondarius @bensonbickleton @PunishedPgans If you are aware of a someone's age, fictional or not, and it is underage, you should automatically not see anything romantic or sexual with that person. Yes, the age of fictional characters should be taken seriously? Plot is pretty serious and important? It's not easily changed.
