Well, the day has finally come! Storm Oriana has transformed into a powerful Mediterranean low but behind it came the Azores High, which is bringing its stabilizing effect for Portugal, Morocco, and at least some parts of western Spain. There may be some very light lingering showers around Portugal today but really nothing to be concerned about, overall conditions will be clearer. On Sunday and Monday, light rain will affect the north but everywhere else should be dry. On Tuesday and Wednesday we may see light showers reaching areas further south again, before conditions clear up again on Thursday and beyond. From this weekend into next week, it won’t be a complete and immediate transition to dry weather… but it will be a significant improvement nonetheless.
