@KirstieMAllsopp @RachelReevesMP When I bought my first flat I had to buy where I could afford & get the best value & commute to & from work daily.
Granted UK public train transport has always cost a fortune, but I included my max for that in my calculations.

Speaking to first time buyers today who’ve really struggled to find an even vaguely affordable home in London & been outbid 5 times in 2 years, at last they’ve secured a flat, but on the 31st March @RachelReevesMP thinks it’s OK for their SDLT to go from £6K to £17K.

@basilthegreat Why the feck has he got a very expensive standing frame in the room? I know he has a disabled brother but surely use it or give it to charity, don't leave it in your brothers room as storage for his monsterous murder equipment!

Diversity is not our strength. Unity and common purpose is. Just saying.. #AxelRudakubana
English

I don’t gaf if he’s mentally ill or had a rough childhood or anything truth is he killed the kids and was glad he did it. He should never be allowed on the streets and see sunlight ever again #AxelRudakubana
English

@blondecharm Wow. Lock dad away... I mean what kind of man brings up a monster like that anyway.
English

@MurrayDS90 Considering he had to stop him going back to his old school to attack pupils just a week before too 😡
English

All the items found in his bedroom when the house was searched, multiple police visits and interventions. His parents must have been playing very ignorant fools to not notice knives & machetes being stored in the room of their child with a history of violence. #AxelRudakubana

@ladybaybiker @Zouki33 I wouldn't worry unless you plan on killing 3 innocent little girls....
English

@Zouki33 Be careful what you wish for!! How long before hurty words are classed as a terror attack and being ‘far right’ is deemed a terrorist. People like me will hung by the neck until dead. Not an outcome I would like for myself.
English

@UKFreedomCamp Yup! In the US, parents of school shooters have gone to prison. We need the same level of accountability.
English

Surely the father of #AxelRudakubana who intervened to prevent a similar attack a week earlier, but failed to report his son to the authorities, must face justice. He too is culpable.
English

@laceywalker__ You mean the Victims were failed by the system surely?
English

@MurrayDS90 yes, they had plenty of opportunities to prevent the horrors he caused and yet they didn’t!
English

@UKFreedomCamp Very true. You literally can't rely on the police for anything these days.
English

I suspect if the taxi driver who drove #AxelRudakubana to #Southport had any confidence that the police would have taken his complaint seriously, he might have phoned the police when the rat refused to pay. Perhaps the Police should reflect on that.

Wow, electricity prices are crazy high in the UK and Europe!
Alec Stapp@AlecStapp
However bad you think things are in the UK, it’s worse
English

@hoaredavid @JamesMelville But it will give them happy memories and bonding time that will last a life time.
English

@JamesMelville The £160 is far less to pay than rediculous holiday time prices. For a 4 or 5 year old taking a few days off school for a holiday isn’t exactly going to determine their exam results
English

@desertmackem @JamesMelville Legal but you shouldn't have to homeschool because the school system is backwards and won't sanction a few weeks holiday.
English

@halfduffer @JamesMelville Holidays as a child are so important. Spending a week with your family having fun trumps any learning and I'm saying this as an ex-teacher.
English

@JamesMelville Hate the fact she represents my city, a working class town where plenty people struggle to make ends meet, some save up all year to try and take kids on holiday, and just cant do it at peak dates
English

@JamesMelville Parents should be able to use their own discretion, they are their parents after all.
