@olddog100ua Tell her, thanks to some historical events, Polish language has the same word - defenestracja. It is probably down to Ukraine being largely outside of Catholic-Protestant tensions that made this word popular, why it didn't make its way into Ukrainian language.

My wife asked me why we have a word in the English language for the process of throwing somebody through a window?🤷‍♂️ And at what point did we feel that we needed a word for it? 🤷‍♂️ 🇺🇦🇬🇧
