Urgent humanitarian appeal to govt of Pakistan: Afghan cancer and other critical patients are losing their lives because Pakistan visa restrictions are disrupting lifesaving treatment. I personally know two patients who died after they could not return to Islamabad to complete remaining session of chemotherapy/radiotherapy at Shifa International Hospital. Patients traveling legally for medical care should not suffer because of regional tensions or the actions of militant groups.
