Yep. People are really this stupid. Carbon tax gets applied MULTIPLE times to groceries. Farmers pay carbon tax of everything to make the food. Distributors/importers pay it on fuel to get the food to grocery store warehouses, Grocery store pay it on fuel to get it in stores.

The carbon tax is hurting farmers here in Nova Scotia and across Canada. A bill that would scrap the carbon tax on farm fuels, bill C-234, has stalled in the Senate. I wrote to Nova Scotia's Senators asking them to do all they can to ensure this bill passes without further delay.

@RMuhlbeier @MelissaLantsman My comment is regarding Ontario. My cost on corn dryer carbon tax is around $5 per acre in lost profits this year, and that's in a year where the corn came off very dry.

@RMuhlbeier @MelissaLantsman You're right about marked diesel, but we very much pay carbon tax for dryer propane and we have no alternatives nor can we pass this cost on.
