DEVELOPMENT: Jaii Frais was also shot last night. He is 1 of 3 persons who were injured during the shooting at Big Wall. According to police sources the blogger sustained what is called a superficial wound which affects only the outermost skin. He was struck somewhere on his leg.

Bwoy, I ain't gonna lie, we had a great run. This was inevitable especially w/ Hurricane Melissa causing over $6B USD in damages. (~1/3rd of our GDP). If I was the FM I would start w/ SCT (sin tax) [incl. weed & vapes] & increase income tax for ppl earning > $9/$10M per annum.

@HeatherPinnock @JamaicaTax He doesn’t need a smartphone or electricity. Once the fitness is done it is uploaded to the JCF system so all the motor vehicle’s documents can be accessed by the police in the event he is pulled over. He doesn’t need to provide a physical copy of the fitness.

Hey @JamaicaTax I know a distressed man from deep rural western Jamaica. His motor vehicle fitness expired recently and he travelled to Montego Bay to renew. They told him it would be sent to his email but he doesn't have a smartphone or electricity and data at home for computer.

Where is the JDF? We spend so much on the military — dead bodies in houses in Westmoreland. JDF has helicopters — was an aerial sweep done of other parishes? We need faster help for Westmoreland, Hanover,Trelawny, St James, Accompong. 🇯🇲
