MUSE research team spent last week in lovely Dublin attending SETAC Europe 33rd Annual Meeting! #SETACDublin We participated with oral and poster presentations and enjoyed networking with fellow scientists!

Interesting presentation on caddisflies showing that temperature increases lead to a shortened development period on their lifecycle and that’s made worse by exposure to emerging contaminants from @MuseStressors #SETACDublin #ClimateChange #chemicals

MUSE team participated with 4 oral presentations at the #SOBS symposium by @HUSEkCafe last week! We presented our work on bioaccumulation of contaminants and their effects on aquatic organisms. We also enjoyed learning and hearing about current studies in freshwater biology!

MUSE is attending the Croatian Entomological Society Symposium in Osijek, Croatia. We enjoy a good opportunity to present our work as well as to meet with other scientists and learn about recent studies. Many thanks to the organizers.

The conference was a great opportunity to find out the challenges and opportunities for women in science from women who had different career paths but the same end goal.

PhD student Iva Kokotović recently attended a very interesting "Women Who are Changing Science ” conference featuring Croatian and Canadian female professors of Life Sciences .

Many thanks for great organisation and to all participants for presenting amazing works. We enjoyed all the talks as well as much needed socializing with fellow scientists!

MUSE team is attending 17th International Trichoptera Symposium and enjoying the stay in beautiful Lunz am See! We are excited to hear latest reports in Trichoptera world and meet colleagues from all over the world! #caddis22

Muse team is part of the Aquacosm-plus project Aquastress and for purpose of the project PhD student Iva Kokotović recently visited WasserCluster Lunz and conducted a mesocosm experiment as part of international team including Simon Vitecek, @VojtechKolar1 and @AlbyScotti .

MUSE's Ana Previšić, Marko Rožman and @VeseliMarina are currently visiting @IcraWater Catalan Institute for Water Research in Girona. During the visit Marko held presentation within the Water Quality research area (RA), and Ana had a talk within the Resources and Ecosystems RA.

MUSE team has two poster presentations at #SETACCopenhagen! Iva Kokotović was yesterday presenting how aquatic insects transfer environmental stress across ecosystem boundaries, and @VeseliMarina has a presentation today on how contaminant uptake differs in different macrophytes!
