the film follows jill (deutch), who is left heartbroken after her sister isabelle dies. she copes by leaving voicemails for isabelle about her messy dating life, but isabelle’s number has been reassigned to austin (robinson), a real estate agent in new york. intrigued, he becomes hooked on jill’s messages and eventually flies to la to meet her, where they connect. however, jill is unaware he has been listening to her voicemails, forcing him to choose between honesty and risking the relationship. source: whats-on-netflix.com/news/voicemail…
