I was going to take one of those Waymo driverless cars tonight in Miami and it was $15.00 for my ride.
Uber, for the same ride, was $6.94. How does that make sense at all?
Isn’t it supposed to be cheaper because you’re not paying a driver?
Im so conflicted about this. What he did to this country was more corrosive and criminal than anything i could have come up with. But i dont want prior presidents to end up in jail - or we cbecome a banana republic. We need people like principled people like Marco Rubio on the right and Fetterman in the left to move us forward and keep us on track.
Musk's lawyer: "Are you completely trustworthy?"
Altman: "I believe so."
Musk's lawyer: "But, you know, you don't know whether you're completely trustworthy."
Altman: "I'll just amend my answer to yes."
Musk's lawyer: "Should the jury believe your testimony?"
Altman: "I think that's up to them, but I believe so."
Musk's lawyer: "You believe so, or they should?"
Altman: "Sir, I'm not gonna tell the jury what to think."
Musk's lawyer: "Do you always tell the truth?"
Altman: "I believe I'm a truthful person."
Musk's lawyer: "It wasn't my question. Do you always tell the truth?"
Altman: "I'm sure there is some time in my life when I have not."
Musk's lawyer: "Have you told lies to advance your business interests?"
Altman: "Uh, no."
Musk's lawyer: "Have you misled people with whom you do business?"
Altman: "I believe I am an honest and trustworthy business person."
Musk's lawyer: "That wasn't my question, what you believe. Have you misled people with whom you do business?"
Altman: "I do not think so."
Musk's lawyer: "Would they think so?"
Altman: "I can't answer that for other people."

@elonmusk The Oscars exist to honor the best in cinema. Then they added a diversity checklist. Now they exist to honor the best representation of cinema. It’s not quite the same thing. But the statuette looks identical, so.
NEWS: Sam Altman is now under official investigation for using OpenAI to boost his personal wealth.
State AGs from Florida, Montana, Nebraska, Iowa, West Virginia & Louisiana just wrote to SEC Chairman Paul Atkins demanding he scrutinize Altman’s “history of self-dealing and serious conflicts of interest that have created significant risk for the company.”
Altman has ZERO direct equity in OpenAI. As the AGs noted, “his personal financial interests have only limited alignment with OpenAI’s financial performance.” He gets to play with other people’s money and the company’s future while protecting his own side deals.
Meanwhile, House Oversight Chair James Comer is demanding documents on Altman’s personal investments that conflict with OpenAI.
$852 BILLION valuation. Unreleased conflict audits. History of getting briefly ousted over these exact issues. And they want to take this public?
It’s a flashing red warning for investors and the public.
Regulators and lawmakers are finally paying attention. About time.

@SaltyGoat17 I have a lib friend who stopped speaking to me for supporting Trump. Then i heard she said she was happy when Kirk died. I am so ashamed that i ever was friends with such a vile person.
