During the operation of our Grain From Ukraine program, we have already managed to save 20 million people from hunger—an achievement made possible by just one of our humanitarian programs. Overall, Ukraine’s food exports feed 400 million people in 100 countries of the world. Ukraine is one of the world’s largest contributors to food security, and we maintain this important role even amidst a full-scale war. This is why it is crucial that we continue standing together to defend food security, protect food supply routes, and other critical export goods. Through this war against Ukraine, Russia has proven that no country is truly distant in today’s world. Everything is strongly interconnected now. We are all equally interested in ensuring that no one in the world wages war against food.
