Its elections season again in Zambia
After talking to a few people in Lusaka it appears to be a mixed bag. Some believe HH has no strong challengers while others think that there are many aggrieved people who may produce surprise results against the incumbent

#dandarostreets A Glen View 8 furniture dealer, Crispen, is reportedly counting heavy losses after losing over US$18,000 that he had been giving to his side chick to keep for him instead of storing the money at home or in the bank.
Sources say the married businessman with three children would regularly hand over cash from his furniture business to the woman for safekeeping. He reportedly trusted her so much that he would sometimes visit her place in Glen Norah just to inspect and count the money, and everything went smoothly for a long time.
Trouble reportedly started when Crispen informed the woman that he was now ready to collect the money so he could buy a residential stand and a car as planned.
However, when he went to collect the money, the woman had vanished. She is now said to have fled to South Africa with the entire US$18,000.

BREAKING ‼️🚨 If you thought the Daily News audio was bad, listen to this one. Nelson Chamisa is heard confirming, while speaking to someone “in the system”, that he is there to block people from going into the streets. He even says that when his own friend, Advocate Thabani Mpofu, proposed that people should go into the streets, he dismissed and rubbished the idea. What makes this even more shocking is the derogatory manner in which he speaks about a man who stood with him throughout his political career. This is the same Thabani Mpofu who introduced Chamisa to his chambers so that he could become an advocate, represented him for free in the 2018 election case, and reportedly lost clients because of his association with Chamisa. Yet here is Chamisa, speaking to someone in the system, trashing the very man who stood by him and confirming in his own words that he is there to make sure people do not go into the streets. Last night I was driving on the Bulawayo Road from Redcliff at around 12:50 a.m. I was travelling at about 90 km/h and the road was clear. As I was approaching Whitehouse, just after Meru Service Station, I noticed two men standing on one side of the road and another two on the opposite side. They were all wearing black pants.
Suddenly, one of them threw an object at my car. It sounded like a tyre burst coming from behind. I was shocked because I was driving alone. I slowed down slightly but did not stop, and I switched off the radio to listen carefully.
In my rear-view mirror, I saw two of the men running towards my car. I stayed calm and continued driving at a lower speed. About 50 metres ahead, two other men were pretending to cross the road slowly, likely to force me to slow down further. I became more alert and hooted at them, but they did not move.
They then threw another object under my vehicle. Shortly after, my car started making unusual noises. I slowed down even more but kept moving because I did not want to stop in an unsafe situation.
Another object was thrown and luckily it hit my rear spare wheel instead of the rear window. At that point, I realised this could be an attempted robbery or attack.
I slowly continued driving while assessing the situation, then eventually pulled over in a safer spot and stopped. As I stopped, about three of them ran towards my car. I then fired warning shots into the air, and they immediately scattered.
So please be careful when driving at night. Do not stop in isolated or suspicious places, especially when you notice unusual activity on the road. Criminals are active during late hours.
Today I noticed that my car only has minor damage on the front bumper underneath. Fortunately, the damage is not serious and should be easy to fix.
