We refuse to open the discussion about what is important to us as a people. We made this decision in 2010 constitution that ALL Children will enjoy Free and compulsory education. Mr.President shut your mouth and that of Mbadi.Urgently borrow Kibaki's notes.

We are saddened by the passing away of former Permanent Secretary Karega Mutahi. He was a firm and hardworking administrator who distinguished himself in public service. Prof Mutahi had vast knowledge and expertise in the education sector, and he brilliantly employed them in improving the management and delivery of teaching and learning of our children. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the education fraternity at this painful time. Rest In Peace, Prof Karega Mutahi.

@EtalePhilip The confusion is regrettable.Further messing public schools and have you heard him ranting how some enemies plan to harm the children? I don't know if we still have a CS For Education in this country. The governor is doubting the safety of his food.

@citizentvkenya How can a city with no classrooms build 10 kitchens worth 500M? How would a county whose half of children are out of publicly funded education be spending 1.2B on a minority and letting the majority poor wander in slum schools with their parents struggling with levies. Total PR

A few people are against our feeding program for nefarious reasons. Resorting to propaganda won’t work. Using children for politics won’t work. The first phase of schools onboarded have been getting their hot meals daily and on time. All head teachers have communication to continue with their arrangements until the county communicates once the next phase begins. Already 80,000 children are enjoying meals at 5bob on the phased implementation. Someone posted a video from Tumaini Primary, no child or teacher in the video just classrooms behind them. Below is the HEADTEACHER of Tumaini, Mrs Millicent Kefa. Sadly, opportunistic premature 2027 aspirants, are so hellbent that this shouldn’t work that they are even considering harming our children. Currently meeting at Asmara Restaurant in Kileleshwa. Let me tell them; Watoi Wadishi, Washibe, Wasome, Wanone. Lazima iWork.

I spent the last one week travelling the country documenting @Food4Education’s work. I saw food served to children in schools in Kisumu, Murang’a, Kiambu, Nairobi and in Mombasa. Affordable lunch in schools is a brilliant idea that has an impact on pupils well-being & performance
