@AndrewWBarden I think it just needs some level of control and management especially on the vehicular movement. I have been to events in London, Paris etc, these logistical challenges are there too and sometimes places are New York is just complete madness. Traffic management is key.

Moses Mudavadi, son to the prime cabinet secretary Madvd has received a direct ticket from UDA to vie for the westlands parliamentary seat. Kangemi which is the headquarters of Westlands is occupied majorly by Luhyas. Both Havi & Moses are maragolis, hapo ni ganji ndio itabonga. I know my people, they barely go for merits but someone who can give them mgorogoro in plenty. Even Tim Wanyonyi has been surviving because he was well oiled. But will the Luhyas embrace the son of a man they've despised even in his own backyard in Vihiga? Only time will tell.

Guys, on this NTSA issue, automated fines tie directly to the concept of strict liability. This means that once the act has occurred, it is not necessary to prove a guilty mind (mens rea). Ergo, if the NTSA smart system has a camera that captures you driving above the speed limit, that is all that is needed to force you to pay a fine.
This mirrors global practice in the UK, USA and Australia where speed and red-light cameras on roads capture those infractions and you are sent a traffic ticket. Helps in unclogging the courts because 99% of the times when you are caught by these cameras, you are actually in the wrong.
Now I understand the question of fair hearing comes up in limited circumstances, which is why @ntsa_kenya MUST provide an appellate mechanism or a review mechanism to challenge the fine. For instance, if their equipment is faulty and makes an error or a motorvehicle is being operated by a thief who stole it.
Secondly, to make it more efficient, NTSA must consider integrating with insurance providers so that no motor vehicle with an outstanding fine will be provided with insurance renewal.
Finally, these rules MUST apply equally to matatus and bodabodas in order to bring sanity to out roads.

Sunny , I am a strong believer in hiring the right people—individuals who take responsibility for their work.
I have never believed in excessive monitoring of staff. In fact, there are two things I have never discussed with my team:
How they dress
What time they report to or leave the office
Years ago, when I was serving as a hotel group CEO, my sales team shared a concern with me. They said they were stressed fighting traffic just to report to the office, only to leave again shortly afterward to make sales calls.
So I asked them a simple question: What would work better for you?
Their answer was straightforward: start the day with sales calls while heading toward the office.
We tried it. Eventually, there were days they didn’t come into the office at all. Instead, at the end of each week, every team member shared their production results.
What mattered was not presence. What mattered was performance.
Managers who become obsessed with tracking employees—especially senior professionals—often reveal an outdated mindset. Leadership is not about policing people; it is about hiring capable individuals, trusting them, and holding them accountable for results.
