@AvonandsomerRob Extremely rarely. There are a few traditional pubs left that cook amazing real home non fuss or pretentious food on a plate, but they're near Yorkshire, Cornwall etc. away from the south east. All others i can't stand.

£20 for a frozen fish & chips in a pub isn't sustainable, regardless of staff wages & difficult trading conditions. Do you still eat out in pubs?

New: Tony Blair says Labour is “playing with fire” and risking the country’s future by changing prime minister “The Labour Party is playing with fire; or, more accurately with its future, and that of the country.”   “Whether there is a leadership change or not is irrelevant if it doesn't start with a policy debate.” “Trying to force the Prime Minister out before we know what policy direction we're bringing in, is not a serious way of conducting ourselves.” Blair also blasts Keir Starmer’s government for being too left-wing “The Government is governing from an essentially traditional Labour ‘soft left’ position, parked firmly in the Party’s comfort zone… in the last Budget, it appeared as if we were increasing tax to pay for additional welfare spending, when the public already thinks welfare bills are too high” Via @LucyGJWhite >> bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Nearly 10,000 foreign national offenders have been removed from the UK since July 2024 - up 36% compared to the previous 21 months. That includes nearly 100 murderers, 600 sexual offenders and hundreds of violent offenders, alongside thousands more convicted criminals.

The largest cohort of asylum seeker claims are from Pakistan. Lefties, what are they fleeing ? And why the UK and not the dozens of other countries near that region ? I’ll tell you in simple terms. It’s the benefits and free housing.

I have uncovered over 30 immigration judges with links to open borders charities. It is now beyond any doubt that a deep rot has infected parts of our judiciary.
