@JWinters489 Wouldn’t surprise me if the Minnesota pick is the most favorable one next season tbf, even Cleveland could blow it up
English

I told y’all those picks were going to end up useless. Even if Utah lands a top-3 pick, Memphis still won’t benefit from it even though the pick is technically tied to Memphis. At this point, I’m packaging those picks in a trade for proven players moving forward.
Chris Herrington@ChrisHerrington
So, if I'm reading this correctly, there's a tweak in the lottery reform proposal — having "no top 5 picks in three straight seasons" apply both retroactively and to traded picks — that would ONLY apply to the Grizzlies in 2027, and not even with their own pick.
English

@MSavage901 I could see a move up in the draft, not sure what active players we would trade for that would be available and actually move the needle though, I would like us to be agressive w that second pick though
English

ZK gotta do something with it. We were also the number ranked team as far as “future” with our young players and it didn’t pan out. It’s time to cash in.
SleeperGrizzlies@SleeperMemphis
The Grizzlies were given a Tier 1 rating for their future assets by ESPN, having "the league's most appealing collection of first-round picks" They currently hold 11 first round picks and are one of only teams that hold the rights to all of their own future FRPs #GrindCity

@GeneralManagerO We need a PF, there’s no way we pass up on boozer or peterson if they fall to us
English

@Mxttyefc Acuff is the next Lillard.
I’d trade Ja.
De Larrea and Acuff could be tough as a backcourt.
They already have Edey so they don’t need Mara.
English

Brayden Burries is definitely coming up on my draft board.
I had him at 13, now I have him at 7.
1. Wizards — Cam Boozer
2. Jazz — AJ Dybantsa
3. Grizzlies — Darius Acuff Jr.
4. Bulls — Yaxel Lendeborg
5. Clippers — Caleb Wilson
6. Nets — Keaton Wagler
7. Kings — Brayden Burries
8. Hawks — Darryn Peterson
9. Mavs — Kingston Flemings
10. Bucks — Labaron Philon Jr.
11. Warriors — Christian Anderson
12. Thunder — Karim Lopez
13. Heat — Cameron Carr
14. Hornets — Mikel Brown Jr.
15. Bulls — Milan Momcilovic
16. Grizzlies — Sergio de Larrea
17. Thunder — Aday Mara
18. Hornets — Henri Veesaar
19. Raptors — Ebuka Okorie
20. Spurs — Tyler Tanner
All 20 of these prospects have a very good chance at having All-Star careers, i genuinely mean it.
Deepest draft ever probably.

@antonjbenson @ONZODIACX @matt1878 Thought you were comparing his first season to this season under Moyes my bad
English

@Mxttyefc @ONZODIACX @matt1878 I believe we finished 10th that year, not 12th? We were 2 points behind.
English

@Mxttyefc @ONZODIACX @matt1878 Emery proved good enough for Villa despite being sacked by Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta didn’t have immediate success. In fact he finished in a similar position to us in his first full season.
English

@antonjbenson @ONZODIACX @matt1878 What else do they have in common? They sacked managers like O’Neil, Emery and Gerrard because they weren’t good enough, and all immediately saw success when the right manager came in
English

@ONZODIACX @matt1878 @Mxttyefc Well I’m not going to make stuff up just to please someone on Twitter am I?
Ps. What do Arsenal, Villa and Bournemouth have in common? They’ve all backed their managers instead of sacking them every time they lose a game.
English

@antonjbenson @matt1878 You’re stuck in the past, also for what it’s worth, Moyes reign at Everton in both periods is massively overrated by some of our fans, the wheels fell off at west ham because he signed aging players that were not cut out for it for a prolonged period
English

@Mxttyefc @matt1878 I also remember what Moyes did with his free rein under Bill. And what he did with his free rein at West Ham, instantly improving them on both occasions.
We have a transfer committee. It’s how we’ve ended up with players that Moyes isn’t playing. It’s not that hard to understand
English

@antonjbenson @Grantos888 They may not be bigger in a history sense or whatever but they have higher expectations than us and consistently played European football with a big transfer budget, that’s a much different job to Everton is in the modern day
English

@Mxttyefc @Grantos888 Aside from the self adulation and being the token member of the Sky 6 not sure Spurs are a bigger club than Everton 🤷🏻♂️
If Frank had come to us he would have been just as bad, if not worse, as our fans would have been out for blood sooner.
English

@antonjbenson @matt1878 No, absolutely not I would not give Moyes free reign, do you remember when sunderland did that and he signed a 35 year old lescott and Pienaar and sent them down? We need a transfer committee, Angus and Moyes should be gone (and shouldn’t have entered this season)
English

@Mxttyefc @matt1878 Whether you like it or not, whether it’s how you believe it’s how a football club should be run or not, it’s true.
For what it’s worth, I agree it’s stupid. I would give Moyes free rein. But he doesn’t have it. That’s why we have wasted £40m+ to have Dibling sat on the bench.
