@AustinRBechtold I mean Allar has very poor footwork, makes poor decisions in key moments, and doesn’t elevate his team. It’s a pick and pray selection and likely a waste of a 3 when we needed help elsewhere. Best case is they both suck and play go 2-15 and they draft CJ Carr 1

Everyone told me that Will Howard was better than Drew Allar. So, why did Allar go with the Steelers first of three picks in the 3rd round and Howard picked in the 6th?

@FBARGUM3NTS @ZPSteelers2 Yep. Plus we have annelderly QB that is about to retire (maybe), a proven mediocre at best backup in Rudolph, and an unproven OSU kid who has fed passes to the best WRs in college football and never faced real adversity.

@ZPSteelers2 Well they had a question mark at guard and at tackle coming into the draft, so they got a guard and a tackle. The secondary got really banged up last year so they got another defensive back. I fail to see how none of this helps the team win now?

I’m a Penn State fan. So I’ve watched Drew Allar VERY closely. All the talent in the world. Can make every throw. Can scramble. Just so inconsistent. Goes small in the biggest moments. But never really had elite WR’s. Maybe McCarthy can fix him? Regardless, Steelers throw a dart.

@KevinAdams26 I am fine with it. We got a solid proven WR2 in Pittman. With how we got manhandled by Houston's pass rush in the playoffs, I think offensive tackle is the better position to draft for. Do I agree it was a bad look? Sure, but it was not a bad pick.
