The Cheapskate has left the building

Good morning! Some news: Friday is my last day at @CNET, meaning my last day as The Cheapskate. It's been nearly 14 glorious years, and I've loved every minute of it. That's mostly thanks to you, readers. I'm not sure anyone on the interwebs has enjoyed a more amazing audience.

@classicxl2 Tbh I'm trying to downsize social media in general; I use Twitter only for occasional venting and to let people know when a new issue of DS has dropped.

Quick poll: Your thoughts on a color e-reader?

@AmazonKindle owners, I can't be the only one with this problem. Often I'll fire up the Kindle and it doesn't auto-sync to the furthest page read. If I manual sync, it just hangs, saying "retrieving" forever. This happens with all Kindle models, not just one. Anyone else?
