I don’t really get what you mean here. The Democrats didn’t let “Podcasts and YouTubes hijack the party” by going on podcasts they’re going where the people actually are. Millions listen to podcasts during work, at the gym, on long drives. Traditional news is fading, and voters want long form conversations where they can see politicians as real humans, hear what they truly believe, and figure out whether they’re trustworthy or just performing. That’s a good thing, not a bad one. An informed public is harder to manipulate than an uninformed one. Sometimes it feels like some people prefer voters to stay in the dark so they’re easier to control. The old playbook is done. Voters aren’t falling for glittery speeches from politicians who get elected and then find excuses not to deliver. If they’re not fighting for the people or if they’re taking money from interests that only benefit themselves it’s over for them. Podcasts give regular people a voice. They’re often built by everyday creators or partially founded by the people so they don't have to be afraid to ask the questions the public actually wants answered. People waking up isn’t a problem. It’s progress.

Democrats have let a bunch of dumb losers with podcasts and YouTubes hijack the party at the cost of their loyal base and it’s all coming to a head now. So predictable. It started with the Pod Save Bros a decade ago. Now here we are.

I'll repeat this for the slow witted who are commenting on the fact that there are women in the clip with their hair covered. There are dozens, if not hundreds of clips on TikTok, in multiple locations in Iran with multiple women not wearing a head covering of any kind.

I've now watched dozens of videos of people shopping and out and about in Iran, and plenty of women don't have their hair covered. Iranians are well educated, modest, and respectful people. We've been sold propaganda and lies for years.
