I know it can be confusing to the poor of Europe, but there's almost always a bread aisle - with the kind of packaged bread you despise - AND an actual bakery staffed by people who got there at 4am making all kinds of fresh bread, cakes, donuts, etc. This is true even of my small town.

No, we call Europeans poor because... they're actually comparatively poor. The idea that we would care if Europeans "laugh at" us is also pretty funny to me, partly because in general, we really couldn't care less what Europeans think of America and partly because Europeans have been leveling condescending insults at Americans for 250 years now. Have at it. Europe is still poor and stagnant and with the exception of maybe Poland and 2 or 3 other places, I don't see much of a future coming from the EU.

Trump has now had what - 3 or 4 assassination attempts either it's been staged or he has the worst security in the american history of presidents..
