Everyone talks about the guy who paid 10,000 bitcoin for two pizzas, but no one talks about the guy who received the 10,000 bitcoin. Meet Jeremy Sturdivant, the man who got paid 10,000 BTC for selling two pizzas on this day in 2010. “I had no idea how huge it would become” ✨

@RonSwanonson Those that sold between the 100 and few thousand mark for loss or gain often find it difficult to back in. Conviction is the only way and that is only achieved by studying it.

I think bitcoin is the most psychologically perplexing asset ever It takes dedication to understand it, and then it takes someone without an ego to buy it for the first time, knowing how many people bought before them Understanding the asset is what allows you to know that it will go up forever when measured in fiat

What people often miss on is the fact that there is 2.1 quadrillion units in the bitcoin network These are called “sats” People get confused because there’s only 21 million bitcoin, and there’s 8 billion people in the world In reality, there is magnitudes more units of money in the Bitcoin network than cents in the dollar network Divisibility is what’s important, not the supply itself

Don't get discouraged because we expected something that didn't happen. Maybe... We misunderstood and nothing was supposed to happen? Binance never comes out and tells us what's coming. You must learn how they do things and interpret the correct way. It's not easy. We all make mistakes..... But don't let it discourage you especially since it's obvious things changed one month ago.... Expect the unexpected but also prepare yourself in case something doesn't happen the way YOU EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN! WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL. BINANCE IS. LEARN TO PLAY THEIR GAME OR SELL YOUR LUNC! $lunc #GreenpeaceUNITED

@namesnik386120 @theswansjr So was the practical use of cowrie shells as a form of money due to its value commodity or debt. I would say it was the most practical and creative POW trading tool at that time. Each to their own and their understanding of what money actually is - albeit heavy slow & cumbersome.

@MyWuXing @theswansjr It's not creative, information, or language. As I explained money is either a usable Commodity, or a Debt

Most people think money is “real” like gravity or oxygen. It isn’t. Without humans, gold is just metal. Bitcoin is dormant code. Dollars are worthless paper. Money only exists because humans collectively agree something can store value and coordinate trade. That’s it. That’s the entire game. Gold won for centuries because it had the best monetary properties. Bitcoin improves on those properties for a digital civilization. The history of money is the history of humans upgrading coordination technology. And Bitcoin may be the biggest upgrade yet.

@namesnik386120 @theswansjr Go back to my initial response - money is a creative unit of trust - it does not have to be a thing. It is an information swap, & that can be in the form of a digital ledger. Language is language. Information via this platform is more efficient than ink on paper envelope mail.

@namesnik386120 @theswansjr Where is this "force" to a 1.6T mkt cap - that's just it - the participation has been organic as a means of validated trust of the network & its units - nobody is being forced. Force is used to move gold. BTC & sat units move seamlessly digitally across borders.

@MyWuXing @theswansjr It has to "force" participants to value it. But IRL bitcoin has no value, so no one wants to receive it as payment. In contrast if one gets paid 1 ton of gold, he is, well, golden.

@Snz_BTC I think he sees creativity from more treasury companies coming into the space with more products and is embracing that. It is in his interest for those companies to do well as they will also support the price & security of bitcoin.

It's logical to sell when you need to, but yet another inconsistency to build a brand on "never selling" without meaning it.

@MURPHSLIFE I assume that’s coming but has to be very organized - last thing they want is to disturb the rich eco system & wildlife. Eco tourism is very expensive - Costa Rica have done it right but not cheap there.

I think the gov should promote their national forests a LOT more. It’s all about the beaches and the new museum when it comes to tourism here but has anyone ever hiked or explored this national park that runs through the route of the flowers? It’s beautiful! El Salvador can be known for its hiking, CAMPING, mountain biking.. just an idea!

Some people say Warsh won't cut. What they forget is the "sacred vow". This vow is something all Trump staff members must take. Above all else, they must pledge allegiance to the King. In Warsh's case, it's a sacred vow to cut rates.
