@oldyzach This game needs to be remade more often. The pirate subgenre is weird with Sid Meier's: Pirates! That doesn't really have successors, Sea Dogs getting remade every 2 years, and most other attempts ending in failure (apart from Assassin's Creed: Black Flag).

@SynthPotato The story and character depth is frustratingly bad. I cant remember a game in recent memory with a more bland protagonist.

Crimson Desert sure is gorgeous, this town feels alive and ridiculously detailed. Getting used to the controls, the choice of having GTA/RDR controls for the movement but Souls/AC combat controls is a weird one. Enjoying the game so far but the story has not hooked me at all

@RedBeardFlynn To be fair, there is a lot of human-made entertainment that is soulless slop. I am not for ai art, but so much entertainment like movies and games are garbage and don't sell. AI is cheaper, but it is still not good. Making a better product is the way to go.

@Mykill_Gaming Instead of replacing human actors with shitty replacements which sound bad. Just use text. Hell look at what slay the spire 2 is doing with their art. Literal line drawings for placeholder art. Its far preferable to generic soulless ai slop. And arc raiders had budget
